One of our favorite vendors is Holly Kitaura, a well known artist in Hawaii who truly captures the essence of the Hawaiian Islands. Holly K began creating art when she was a child. She first painted with medicine from her medicine cabinet before evolving to more standard tools such as crayons and paint. Today she utilizes watercolors, acrylics, ink, auto paint, and enamel to create her expressive and cheerful art. Although she has no formal training she has created a style that is distinctly her own, one that is vibrant and inspiring. She is intensely passionate about creating her art and is inspired by the beauty of Hawaii. She resides in the rainforest of Manoa where she creates her artwork in her open air studio.
Her artwork can be found in galleries across the island, however we created a special collaboration with her for some of our merchandise.
