Why the Marine Life of Hawaii is so special
Hawaii’s warm, crystal clear waters are home to an incredible variety of marine creatures. From sea turtles to tropical reef fish, every snorkeling rip reveals something new. Whether you’re planning your first snorkel or joining a guided tour like Dolphins and You or Turtles and You, this guide will help you discover the marine life of Hawaii, what to expect and how to respect it.
Important Note: Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. All animals mentioned here live freely in the ocean, and part of the magic is that every experience is unique.
Reminder: Due to NOAA regulations, swimming with dolphins is not allowed. We admire them from a respectful distance.
