What’s it Like to Book All Oahu Tours through AYC?
David and his 11-year-old son Justin were surfing the web looking for Oahu things to do when they stumbled across the Island and You circle-island food tasting tour. Little did they know they would soon be embarking on a “journey of self-discovery” through Oahu on land and at sea!
Island and You is one of four Oahu tours offered by the company And You Creations (AYC). The company is most well-known for its Dolphins and You tour – the longest-running and highest-rated dolphin tour in Oahu. And it also offers Nature and You – a hike through the Manoa Valley Rainforest – and Ocean and You, which takes guests on a leisurely cruise along the Honolulu coastline at sunset.
David and Justin did it all. We talked to them about why they stuck with And You Creations and what it was like to use AYC instead of other tour operators. Read through our Q+A with them to hear their perspective.

Tell us a little bit about you. Where were you traveling from?
We live in Vancouver, Canada. I am retired. My son is 11. We decided to come to Hawaii for his school break.
How did you find out about And You Creations?
I was surfing the web and found a travel site called gohawaii.com. That’s where I learned about your tours. I thought the food and drinks tour sounded unique, so I booked Island and You online.
What did you think of Island and You?
Billy was our guide, and he gave us a lot of information. Billy kept saying that for him is not a job. It’s his passion. He loves to show people around to see Hawaii, and he loves to go out and do a lot of things. It’s impressive. Our driver John was also great.
Did you do any other tours in Hawaii? If so, how were they different?
We went to the other tour companies. There were a couple of companies that took us to the dole plantation and the north shore, but the tour guide was the driver, so he was quite occupied. It was boring. Nothing was too interesting.
What made you decide to keep booking with AYC?
We were asking Billy what kind of other tours that you offer, and he showed me the website. We went to the web and figured that we would love them all, so we booked them all.
What tour was your favorite and why?

For me, all of them. For Justin, the most impressive was the Dolphins and You. He loved that a lot. There were a lot of things to keep us occupied during the tour.
It was his first time swimming in the ocean, so it was really memorable for him.
What about the other tours (Nature and You & Ocean and You)?
We could see on the Nature and You tour that the company really cares about the environment. That actually is very unique. My son is studying at an eco-certified school, so he loves nature and loves the environment.
Luckily Ocean and You just started, also, so that cruise was very unique and we were happy to enjoy it.
In your opinion, what sets And You Creations’ tours apart from other Oahu tours?
Compared with the big guys, you guys are unique. And I’m sure you’re the way to go. All the people who work for And You Creations are young and energetic. They smile, and they work there to follow their heart.
Other customers should know about your organization. They don’t have to shop around. They can do it all with you.

I just have to thank you guys for giving Justin such a great first impression of Hawaii. Now he’s even talking about retiring in Hawaii!
