A quick drive away from the city of Waikiki is the Manoa forest, well-known for its Manoa Falls hiking trail. Join us for an unforgettable hike on Oahu’s premier nature tour!
You’ll trek through the valley surrounded by Hawaii’s endemic flowers, trees, and native birds. The end of the trail leads you to Manoa Falls, a 150-foot waterfall.
The hike is a total of 1.7 miles with an elevation gain of 633ft. The trail is paved a majority of the way, then the trail terrain gets rocky and quite slipperyand when raining, this hike is considered moderate. We encourage guests who are confident in their ability to join!
- Please note conditions may change due to weather.
- The tour will still operate in mild weather conditions. We will contact you if any rescheduling is necessary.
- Please avoid wearing beach sandals or similar footwear. We ask that you wear sneakers or hiking shoes instead.

"Our guide arrived to pick us up in an immaculate van and explained the whole trip as we drove to falls. He pointed out some very interesting facts, landmarks and fauna along the way. Please be ready with comfortable shoes and clothes at one of our 8 pick-up locations in Waikiki. Bring a poncho or rain wear in case of rain.

Arrival at the trail head

Arrival at the Manoa Falls
At the end of this 45 minute hike you arrive in the “Valley of Rainbows”, just steps away from the foot of Manoa Falls. This 150-foot waterfall will leave you breathless!

Beautiful nature hike to a waterfall. Lots of information on the plant life we saw along the way. Enjoyed a lunch in a park at the conclusion of the hike. Billy was a great guide.
