M Nightclub
This is one of the city’s hotspots and it’s got a lively atmosphere that goes until 4 a.m. on the weekends. If you’re not tired after your island adventures, check out M Nightclub for some of the best local and international DJs. There’s a dress code and sometimes a line depending on the act, so come prepared. And don’t forget your dancing shoes!
Banyan Court
If you are looking for something to do after hours, but aren’t feeling up to a bouncy nightclub, check out this Waikiki favorite inside the Moana Surfrider Resort Hotel. Here you can sit at the open air bar while enjoy great views of majestic Diamond Head. Banyan offers live music and the occasional hula show, where you can get a bit of local culture.
Surfer, The Bar
This is a favorite with locals and offers quite a diverse calendar of events depending on what night of the week you visit this restaurant-bar-nightclub hybrid on the North Shore. Sundays is karaoke night, so if you want to belt out some tunes, head here! They also have a great happy hour featuring classic Hawaiian drinks and if you’re a surf enthusiast, check out their Wednesday evening programs which feature local surf experts for a meet and greet.
CabaRAE
Maybe you want a little Las Vegas show type action on your vacation? Well then Cabarae is the place for you! With performers showcasing acrobatics, magic skills, and sometimes fireworks shows, it’s definitely a favorite with tourists and locals looking for something fun on a night out. And if you want to keep the fun going, there’s sometimes a DJ and dance floor that goes into the wee hours of the morning.
Addiction Nightclub
This is one of Honolulu’s favorite nightclubs and although it gets pretty wild, they do take partying seriously. So with that comes bottle service and a first-class sound system that brings the beats until 3 a.m. and a great day party on Sundays. Located inside the swanky hotel Modern, put this on your list if you like to party with a VIP touch.
Honolulu Museum of Art
If you want to mix art, music, drinks, and some dancing, then this event is for you. Held on the final Friday of the month, Art After Dark is a monthly program hosted by the museum that will definitely be one of your more memorable times in Honolulu.
