A quick drive away from the city of Waikiki is the forest of Manoa. Manoa is well-known for its hiking trail, Manoa Falls Trail.
This trail is accessible and appropriate for all ages. It lies in the middle of the island and is surrounded by Hawaii’s greatest nature. The end of the trail will lead you to Manoa Falls, a 115 Feet (35 Meter) waterfall.
There may be slight rain, this trail may be wet and muddy, but the clean air, water, and natural trees make this the real nature tour.

As we go along the trail, don’t forget to keep your eyes, ears and nose ready to absorb the natural beauty of Hawaii.
Experience the forest's energy
Locals believe that this forest is the home to Menehune’s, ancient Hawaiian “elves”. See if you can spot them among the thick jungle foliage!
Arrival at the Manoa Falls
At the end of this 45 minute hike you arrive in the “Valley of Rainbows”, just steps away from the foot of Manoa Falls. This 115 foot (35 meter) waterfall will leave you breathless!
Hiking back out
The hard part is over and it’s all downhill from here! Don’t forget to take any pictures or videos you might have missed on the way up!
